Last weekend marked a host of local races as well as Round 2 of the Sligo Road Race League. A successful weekend of running, there was a huge combined race attendance, and not for the first time in 2019. Running is booming. Running Clubs and Running Groups are the driving force behind these successful races and it’s easy to see why. If you are on the fence about joining a club then this is for you.

It takes time to get to know the other runners and get into the groove of training. We’ve come to appreciate running as a privilege, and like all things, it’s often an experience best shared with others.
